The Ordinary is Extraordinary
Some of life's most extraordinary moments don't announce themselves.
They're found in muddy feet after a day of exploring. The familiar rhythm of bedtime. Wind in your hair on the beach. The way your child reaches for your hand without thinking. A family meal, a quiet cuddle, laughter around a campfire, or a moment so fleeting you don't realise its significance until years have passed.
For me, photography began as a way of preserving those moments within my own family. Not because they were perfect, but because I knew they wouldn't last forever. Over time, that simple desire grew into something much bigger.
Today, it shapes everything I create. Whether I'm documenting motherhood, rural communities, cultural stories or families simply being together, my approach remains the same.
I believe the ordinary is extraordinary. That the moments we often overlook are the very ones that become woven into our family's history.
My hope is to create photographs that don't simply show you what life looked like. They remind you what it felt like. Because one day, these beautifully ordinary moments will become the stories your children tell, the photographs your grandchildren treasure, and the echoes that continue long after the moment has passed.
